Darling and I went to see cameras today.
My eyecandy is out!
Since Mum doesn't want to buy for me and refuses to lend me the cash til Pa says yes (and he hasn't replied.)
I'm buying it for myself!
Only the Silver version has been released. So based on my calculated guess, if I slog my guts out for this month and next month, I'll be able to raise the cash by the time the Black version's out.

Sigh. Here's to a new camera and long hours of work.

Hi!
Woke up, and I was like, an hour late again. DOH. I'm proving myself to be more bimbotic than I know.
Got ready and all. Lucky Darling finished an hour early! :D
Took the SUPER long bus ride to Marina Square. Bleh. Walked around, had brunch and collected Darling's Zen Micro. Ergh, Creative stinks.
Surprised Lena at Gelare and we went SHOPPING!!!!!!!! But we didn't buy anything! Hahahah! Stupid. Walked around a lot, oogled at clothes. Had lunch, laughed at people etc.
And we had edam cheese! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.
Awwww it was a really good day! :)
Bye!

Hi! Today is SUNDAY!
I woke up at a totally stupid hour of 11am, had brekkie, bathed, and headed down to the Topshop/Fox/Dorothy Perkins Carpark Sale at the Wing Tai Warehouse! :D
There was nothing much there actually. There were 2 sections - an air con room for the more expensive and better quality stuff, and the HUGE carpark where they had about 500, 000 carts full of unwanted tops/skirts/pants/jeans/blazers/blahblahblah.
AND... I got a grand total of, TWO tops only at the end of hectic, hectic shopping. Stuff there was either too small, too ugly, too gaudy, or too EEEEE.
Got 2 long sleeved tops, one's white, the other's a shirt like thing that's grey. Mum reckons I should wear more colours.
Headed to Golden Mile Food Center for a real late lunch. We had the best, best, BEST Thai food EVER!!!!!!!! :D
The Pineapple Rice was DELICIOUS. The floss made it crispy, the pineapple gave it zing and the cashew nuts added extra crunch. Next was the Tom Yam. Ooooo it wasn't extremely spicy or extremely sour but it was a good thing! The next dish was the fish. It was a fried promfet, drenched in a heavenly sweet chilli. When you bite into it, the skin is ULTRA crispy and doesn't have a hint of oil. The meat is succulent and extremely soft. MMM. Remeber I said that it was good that the Tom Yam wasn't spicy? Yeah, when you eat the fish and drink the Tom Yam soup, BOOM! It's like, chilli mushroom cloud! The last dish was the kangkong. It's the BEST KANGKONG I HAVE EVER EVER EVER TASTED. It's crunchy, unlike the normal liaoliao kangkong. The sauce is so GOOOD. They use salty beans and it has just a tinge of spiciness. MMMMMMMMMM.
:D
Okay. Went to Bishan and shopped around, looked at cameras, tvs, stuff. Ate a FAB sliced fish hor fun, and went home. :)
Night!
(I blogged to tell you all about the lovely food.)

3 random things Thursday!
- I have about 7 skirts. :)
- I own 6 pairs of racer backs. 4 are from Giordano, 2 from U2. 3 are black, 3 are white.
- My laptop has a missing 'N' key!
Hello!
It's been busy busy busy, work work work. Rather annoying, especially if you're damn tired.
Yesterday's work wasn't fulfiling. Just, boring. People at the work place are hypocritical!
Something else ruined my day, and that was my mum coming to visit. She even spoke to Bernard, shift manager. Fuck and he refused to tell me what they talked about. Rar! Everyone consoled me after. Darling said it couldn't be anything that jeopardized work. So, I'm praying for the best.
Anyway, that day Darling and I were minding our own business, buying dinner at the food court. Some campus superstar thingy happened to be filming there. And one of the 'superstars' jumped my queue! OMGWTFBBQCTEPIESLEBKE?!
Atrocious. So I went back and ranted to Darling how totally unfair it was and all, and I realised something.
I realised that the Chinese community have a large need to idolise. See the super large amount of pop stars? SHE, 5566, whatever shit bands la. It has been easy to rise to fame because Chinese love to idolise.
Look around, you don't see many Eurasians, Malays or Indians idolising pop stars, do you? In fact, even in the Chinese community, it is mostly the Chinese speaking Chinese that feel the need to obsess over these 'ou xiang'.
Frankly, I don't see the reason why. Perhaps it's because of a lack of esteem or perhaps, the Chinese severely lack the individualist gene.
No matter what, I'm glad I don't have idols. To me, chasing idols is an idle waste of time.

Anyway, meet my new eye candy! The Panasonic Lumix FX-09. Also known as the camera used in Final Destination 3. lol.
bye!

sinking into sweet uncertainty.

Hi!
Been working for 3 straight days. 5 to 8 hour shifts at a go. It is SO TIRING to be happy and energetic all the time! But it's really fun, talking to people and all, trying not to sound TOO bimbotic. Lol.
Finally! I'm off tomorrow. Darling and I are gonna go shopping tomorrow after her lecture. :) Ahh. A well deserved break!
PL0103 went to Sentosa today, but I was working, which was a bummer. :(
On the other hand, I did really well at work today! I made 800+ at POS today, recieved a Be Knowledgeable card from Noor for giving out advice a lot and also a GEMS card from a customer! :D
Life's going well for me now! :) Hope it will get better. :)
I can't wait to go to the beach! :) And all the stuff that we've planned!
And the holidays are so short! :(
Dear Bitches, I really miss you guys! Can we have a bitch outing soon?
Night!

(Note: This post was specially created to shut Char up. Get a bloody job already!)
Has anyone seen the dumb Fancl as where this guy in a white lab coat tries to advertise the use of nano technology in cosmetics? FUCK, that's so dumb. Lashes don't have the same bloody texture as egg shells, stupid. No matter how weak your nano-s are, the mascara will STILL come off. Cause the egg shell's smooth.
I spent the day baking cookies! Watching Harry Potter and baking chocolate cookies! :) We moulded them into "coffee beans" and gonna bring them to Starbucks tomorrow and present them as an exclusive blend - Blonde Blend!
HA! My hair is finally dyed. The same purple I last used. It's still kinda light though. But at least my hair's not as dry as hay.
Work has been good. Feel good about myself. Screw people. They just make you mad. It's better to achieve self actualization, than have someone praise you.
Toodles.

Hi!
What I'm gonna blog about today is gonna be superficial/stupid. Read if you want to. Or, not?
Anyway, my life is really fun. My friends are like the craziest airheads in the world (tee hee.) Like in school or just going out, I'm definitely gonna laugh hard.
But what about people who don't have such crazy friends and live boring lives? (I can name a few people I know who seem like that!) What about people who aren't blessed with weird friends like mine?
I mean, I can't imagine being a boring person, not doing the nonsensical stuff that I/We always do!
Some people are like... DOH, boring! I mean, I talk to them and they seem so boring.
Imagine this:
"Hi, my name is Alicia. My hobby is collecting one cent coins. I also like to go to school." -insert robotic laughter-
How can you live being such a boring person!?!!?
Like, YAWN! Put some laughter and fun into your life? Very fun counting one cent coins is it?! How do they live?!?!
I've experienced 5 minutes together alone with one such boring person. The 5 minutes, she was so quiet and I just had to talk about something. My God la!
I have this manager, currently training at Paragon. She's another of those boring people. We sat next to her during store outing, and she was SO, MIND DRAININGLY BORING! Everything she had to say was about work or like school. Like, how long have you worked here, is this your first job, do you have an ECA in school. Yes, she actually ASKED about my ECA. (It's now called CCA, by the way. She's just too old school.) And everything that she had to talk about was work as well. Like, her past job experience and all that.
HOW BORING!
Sitting next to her was like the biggest mistake ever. She managed to bore Leela out of her mind. You could see it in the "Yeah, uh huh.." -looks envyingly at other end of table.
Geez, I'm glad I'm not so brain-damagingly boring.
