i'm kinda bored and i just decided to tell all my bloggers about my piercings! haha, don't read if you don't wanna.
this one's my tragus!you see that little bit of cartilage right in front of the ear? yup, that's called a tragus piercing. pierced it at inks, far east plaza. the piercer's real good! knows how to calm you down and all.
initially it wasn't me who wanted the piercing, i just accompanied darling there. she got cold feet so i decided to get one as well, just to make her feel better.
on a scale of 1 -10 with 10 being the most painful, tragus's like a 2.5. this was done free hand. the piercer cleaned the ear, marked the spot, placed a piece of cork behind my ear and then pierced the needle through it. before the needle could come out, she put the barbell in, then took the needle out. seems like a long process, but it only took like 3.87 seconds! :) then she put the bead on the barbell and, tahdah! tragus!
aftercare's okay, the normal alcohol-clean-regularly thing. no swelling and stuff. but my tragus is a bit off center, suspect my ear was in the midst of rejecting it.
this piercing's called a rook. its supposedly the thickest part of cartilage on your ear you could pierce. i was a little apprehensive to pierce at first.
this one was pierced at a tiny piercing shop in MBK, Bangkok. but seriously, this piercer is damn good! i saw her doing von's, connie's and darling's piercings. she's confident and she does it real fast.
the piercer cleaned the area with a spray, then marked the spot. then she bent the needle into a slight curve. this piercing's a little different, she clamped the area and suddenly, hey! they barbell's in my ear! all you feel is a little tugging! she then screwed the bead on and rook!
after the piercing, it gets a little hot and you always feel kinda stoned cause of the adrenalin and all, but i love it! nothing better than sticking metal in myself!
aftercare for the rook is a bit more tedious. you have to clean it more, plus water traps in there easily. my rook got infected and swelled cause i slept on it, but i used surgical spirit from guardian, and the swelling went down in about 2 - 3 days.
i heart piercings! :) always have, ever since the secondary 2/3 days of multiple earlobe piercings. i always thought that piercings were done by the gun, until i was introduced to the world of body modification, that i found out that gun piercings are bad for your ear!
the first ever piercing i wanted was a tongue. and after that rook, i'm hooked! i want more more MORE!
at first, i liked the look of pieces of metal in odd parts of your body, but the rook really made me more enthusiastic about 'em. i can't explain it, but i just like that feeling of being in a daze, that stony feeling you get after you've pierced something, and of course, i do love how they look!
plus, until today, i've never realised how ugly my ears actually looked.

i woke up at 8 am today. how la, 30 minutes before school started.
rushed into the shower and hopped into a cab. wasted like 10 plus bucks. :(
but apart from today's lesson, it was actually quite fun. lol, bitching and all. but i'm hungry. lol
rahhhhhhhhh. yoga later. but darling's sick.
i think i shall rent movies tmr, make lunch and surprise her tmr. :)

they make me so excited looking at them! i feel like i wanna pierce everywhere now. labret, eyebrow, industrial, vertical industrial, everything! i'm not happy with just a rook and a tragus. oh and i just saw lovely pictures of vertical labret. oooo so pretty. but then the sick part is like the vertical labret goes through the lip. but it looks so lovely.
hmm wonder what i'd look like with a vertical labret.
EDIT! please tell me which one you like better! :) the top's a labret, the bottom's a vertical labret. TAG PLEASE! :D

i've been a very bad blogger! since my laptop went bonkers, i haven't been blogging much. and it seems like i've got something to write about, then i open up the page and my mind goes blank.

anyway, Bangkok was awesome. i never wanna do my shopping in Singapore again. everything from Singapore's imported from Bangkok anyway, and then they mark up the prices like by 4 to 5 times!?
i guess the most memorable part was getting my piercing! whee plus it only cost S$16! of course, you have to be smart and choose a good piercer, not one that's like dingy and dirty.
oh speaking about my piercing, it got infected. but some miracle thing from guardian really helped it a lot, together with darling's amazingly wonderful nursing knack that she didn't knew she had, it healed in a couple of days! :)
oh well. i'm back in Singapore, and i still love Singapore many! :) i do miss the tuk-tuk-ing everywhere, the feeling of being so rich, the freedom of not having parents around, the adrenaline of travelling without an adult or a guy, but i still love the safety, my lovely home, cable tv that i can understand, and of course, my family and friends that are all here. :) awww so mushy.

hi!
i'm back from bangkok! it was a hell lot of fun, but nothing's perfect i guess. :) oh well.
anyway, i'm now watching Top Fun on Channel 8. such a load of rubbish. sort of like cheena talent time, and there's this girl band performing. they said that they've won competitions. eeeyer.
currently, it's this girl band performing, some kind of cheena hiphop. seriously they are damn gross. they can't dance, it's more like moving, not even shaking. they're wearing midriff revealing stuff, it's almost like this show is just an opportunity to show to the entire of singapore just how pudgy they are and how really really bad they are at dancing. and on top of that, how seriously lacking in class they are.
okay, i am going to bake now.
i miss bangkok. take me there please dear?

hi! this's my first and like probably last post from Bangkok!
the keyboard has thai words! i'm like damn excited. but i feel quite bad cause i'm making darling wait for me.
anyway, it's been fun here! shop, shop, shop! :) we got ripped off at Mah Boon Krong, but then i got real good deals at Chatuchak today. i bought like 2093482840 tops! i really can't help it. it' s reasonably cheap, quality's not bad, and above all the designs are damn nice!
only bought like one bottom though, mostly cause thai
but i really can't find anything for souvenirs leh. :( it's not that i'm stingy or anything, but... i dont know what!
nonetheless, darling and i are going to Pratunam tmr, hopefully we'll go to Bo Bae too and get even more shopping done! no more tops for me. :(
